The Reno-Stead Airport (RTS) is a 5,000 acre general aviation facility, owned and operated by the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, that is quickly becoming a major economic hub in northern Nevada.

Food Bank’s Mobile Harvest program will be at the Stead Airport to distribute produce and other fresh food items to community members. All community members in need of food assistance are welcome to visit Mobile Harvest. There are no qualification requirements, and each household may pick up food from a Mobile Harvest distribution once per week.

Join us at the Stead terminal building, we will have arts and crafts, games and prizes, refreshments, story time, there will folks on site to discuss Aviation Youth Programs available to the community, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be flying in at 11am to visit with everyone and take pictures. The pups from “Paws for Passengers” will be there and a few of Santa’s other friends: Frosty, Rudolf, and the Grinch. This event is free and while supplies last.
