Can I book my ride ahead of time and use the promo code?
Yes, you can book your ride in advance of your travel and claim the promo code in-app. Promo applies to rides within the promotion period: March 13-30, 2025.
How do I claim the rideshare voucher?
Open the rideshare app, enter your destination, and apply the promo code at checkout. The discount will automatically apply if your trip qualifies.
Which rideshare companies are participating?
Uber and Lyft. Be sure to use the promo code in their respective apps to receive the discount.
Can I use this promotion if I’m visiting Reno?
This promotion is designed for locals traveling from home to RNO and back. It does not apply to trips that originate at the airport first.
Can I use the discount multiple times?
No, the promo applies to one roundtrip per traveler—$5 off your ride to the airport and $5 off your ride home.
What if my ride home falls outside the promo period?
If your ride home is scheduled outside the promotion period, the discount will not apply. The promo is only valid for trips taken between March 13-30, 2025. Be sure to plan your travel accordingly to take advantage of the offer.
What if I have an issue with the promo code?
If the promo code is not applying correctly, check that your ride falls within the promotion period and meets the eligibility criteria. If you continue to have trouble, contact the rideshare company’s customer support.
