RENO, Nev. – Today, the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) revealed a new interactive mural in the Terminal Lobby. The stunning “Fly With Us” mural evokes the feeling of taking flight, inspiring travelers to spread their wings and explore the world through RNO’s 20+ nonstop and numerous one stop destination options to get passengers virtually anywhere they want to go.

The RTAA encourages travelers to take a picture with the vibrant interactive mural and tag @renoairport the next time they #FlyRNO.

The artist behind the mural is Matthew McDowell, a native Nevadan artist with exceptional talent, passion and deep connection to his hometown. Matthew has made significant contributions to art, earning him recognition as the Best Visual Artist of Northern Nevada in 2019. Matthew’s murals can be seen throughout the area, most notable for capturing beautiful blends of the region’s historical heritage with contemporary elements.

“I strive to make an everlasting mark on any city’s visual landscape by enriching the cultural fabric of the region with the goal of inspiring the local community,” said McDowell, “I’m proud to have created something that will have an impact on traveler’s first and last impression of the Reno-Tahoe region.”

Inspired by Nevada wildlife, agriculture and world-renowned activities, this social media focused passenger experience will build exposure for not only the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), but also the northern Nevada region and all that it has to offer.
