(RENO, NV) – Beginning at 3:30 p.m. today, Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) will be conducting firefighting training on aircraft near the terminal building.

The training is designed to help keep airport firefighting skills well-honed for the safety of our customers and stakeholders.

Smoke from the fire training will be visible to the public.

These exercises align perfectly with RNO’s commitment to safety and security as a top priority.  We bring this to your attention in case someone reports emergency activity or radio traffic at the airport.  No operational delays or impact to the traveling public are expected.
