MEDIA ALERT – Reno-Tahoe International Airport Celebrates New Nonstop Service to Austin

RENO, Nev. (Mar. 5, 2025) – Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and Southwest Airlines are celebrating the launch of a brand-new nonstop flight to Austin, Texas with a special celebration at the gate for passengers.   

What: Passengers will enjoy live music, themed décor, sweet treats and more as RNO marks this exciting new route to the Live Music Capital of the World. 

Where: Reno-Tahoe International Airport 

When: Thursday, March 6, 2025 

Media will meet at the Ski Statue at 9:30 a.m. for escort
