depARTures Gallery and Performance Art
The Arts at the Airport program showcases gallery exhibitions and live performances to travelers year-round.
The depARTures Gallery, located post-security in the Connector C Concourse, features rotating exhibitions every 3-4 months from local and regional organizations and artist collectives. Live performances are held near the iconic “Giant Slalom” bronze sculpture in the ticketing hall. RNO features a wide range of talent, from cultural dances and traditional music to acapella singing and bands.
Who can display an exhibition?
The depARTures Gallery displays exhibitions from art organizations and collectives, not individual artists.
Who can perform at RNO?
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority invites both individuals and groups to perform at RNO.
What are the exhibition installation expectations?
depARTures Gallery exhibitions rotate quarterly. Artwork will not be displayed on a permanent basis. Exhibitors are responsible for hanging and removing artwork based on contract dates.
