Sustainability
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is committed to building and operating sustainable aviation facilities that protect the natural beauty of our region. RTAA’s environmental programs seek to continually improve environmental practices by encouraging stewardship at every level of our organization, both inside and out.
Compatibility
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority actively monitors noise and its impact on the community by using an Airport Noise & Operations Monitoring System (ANOMS) system. The RTAA provides near real-time flight tracking data, noise program information, and a citizen-led Airport Noise Advisory Panel to support our community and ensure we collaborate with them as we continue to expand our services.
Airport Sustainability Advisory Committee (ASAC)
The ASAC serves as a mechanism to provide input to the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority on issues related to the environmental impacts, including noise, of airport operations and activities at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and the Reno-Stead Airport (RTS).
