RNO Gears Up for Burning Man Travelers

The annual Burning Man event is back, bringing visitors from all over the world to our region. This year, the week of Burning Man, coupled with Labor Day weekend travel, is shaping up to be the busiest of 2024.

So much so, that American Airlines added a special nonstop flight between RNO and LAX from Aug. 23 to Sept. 3 to accommodate the extra travel needs. See all nonstop flights available to and from RNO here.

The Burning Man event, located in the Black Rock Desert, takes place from Aug. 25 – Sept. 2, 2024 and RNO’s airport teams are excited to welcome travelers to and from this special event that brings substantial economic impact to northern Nevada. Even with a little extra construction and playa dust, RNO’s staff works diligently to keep things clean, guide passengers and leave a positive impression of our region.
