As a Prime Concessionaire, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your business in our vibrant environment, reaching a diverse audience of travelers. If you’ve landed on this page, you likely already understand the process, but we’re here to ensure our Primes are set up for success. Under this arrangement, RNO grants all or most of the concessions spaces within a specific category to a single operator, enabling you to self-operate the majority of locations. These businesses will forge partnerships with smaller-scale enterprises and those qualified under ACDBE guidelines to collaborate on operations or branding within the concessions program.
RFP Coming Soon
RNO is undergoing our MoreRNO Infrastructure Program which will, by replacing the existing concourses with two larger and modernized concourses, add significantly more concessions space to the airport.
In addition to new space available in our future concourses, several locations in the existing terminal both pre and post-security will be available. The RTAA expects to release RFPs for food and beverage, retail and vending in Q4 of 2025.
Thriving Community
The Reno-Tahoe region is currently undergoing significant growth, reshaping both our community and economy. Major investments in the greater Reno area and Lake Tahoe, spanning both business and leisure sectors, are driving this transformation. The tech and manufacturing sectors are experiencing substantial growth, leading to an increase in job opportunities and wages, while the startup scene reflects the region’s entrepreneurial spirit. As Reno-Tahoe evolves into a dynamic economic hub, the airport plays a crucial role in facilitating connectivity and fostering further growth.
Creating Partnerships
The RTAA has prepared a campaign and is seeking feedback to learn what brands and businesses our community wants to see at RNO. These efforts will help us further develop our interested parties list and prepare the groundwork for the partnerships to be established in advance of upcoming solicitations.
If you are interested in participating in Meet & Greet events or other outreach efforts fill out our Business Engagement Form.
Competitive Solicitations
The airport is owned and operated by the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) and utilizes the Nevada’s online bid management system, NGEM. All vendors wishing to be formally notified of new solicitations for opportunities at RNO should register with NGEM.
