RENO, Nev. (Aug. 10, 2023) – The Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and Burning Man bring a taste of the popular event to the traveling public through A Dream Made Real. This exceptional art exhibition, located post-security in the C-Concourse Connector, showcases an eclectic array of artistic expressions sourced directly from the Burning Man community. A Dream Made Real invites passengers to explore the multifaceted dimensions of Burning Man culture, by offering a glimpse into the imaginative minds of the artists who continue to redefine the possibilities of art and self-expression.

Celebrating the creative spirit of Burning Man artists, A Dream Made Real features a one-of-a-kind collection of art maquettes, photography, intricate jewelry, captivating collectibles, thought-provoking books, videos, and much more and is curated by Burning Man Project Co-founder Crimson Rose, visionary Christine Kirsten, Documentation Volunteer Coordinator Michael ‘Dustin’ Fasman and Reno Office Administrator Jen Conway. Together, their expertise and passion have ensured the selection of a diverse assortment of artworks that capture the artistic and transformative spirit of Burning Man.

About the depARTures Gallery: The depARTures Gallery is a dynamic art space dedicated to showcasing rotating exhibits that entertain and inspire. Every 3-4 months, travelers can expect displays of various art forms from local and regional organizations and artists collectives that celebrate the cultural heritage and creative development of northern Nevada.

About Arts at the Airport: For decades, the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) and its airports Reno-Tahoe International (RNO) and Reno-Stead (RTS), have been strong supporters of art.
