What: Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) will welcome approximately 20,000 Burners over the course of the next week in preparation for the annual Burning Man festival which starts this weekend.
Monday, August 26 will be a very busy travel day when therapy dogs from RNO’s Paws for Passengers will don costumes and bring smiles to arriving Burners. Travelers will also see a one-of-a-kind Burning Man art exhibition in Concourse C curated by co-founder Michael Mikel.

9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Arrivals will take place all week, but Paws 4 Passengers will focus on the busy travel period between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Where: Reno-Tahoe International Airport entrance to Baggage Claim.
Activities will take place near Air Playa Info, a welcome area staffed by local volunteers dedicated to assisting Burning Man attendees with information, directions and a warm Reno-Tahoe greeting.
Burning Man is the single biggest event each year at RNO where attendees bring in approximately $11 million in economic impact for the airport and the region. Come see how Burning Man helps put the “international” in Reno-Tahoe International with travelers from over 34 countries.
