Lost & Found

If you believe you lost an item in Reno-Tahoe International Airport, including at the TSA Security Checkpoint, please use our Lost and Found claim report form.

If you believe you left an item onboard an airplane, please contact the airline directly.

  • Call: (775) 328-6400 or use the contact form below.
  • Temporary location during construction: The front desk is located on the second floor in the airport badging office. The front desk can be accessed by using the stairway located between the arrivals waiting area and Mari Chuy’s restaurant in the main terminal. Please look for signs.
  • ADA accessibility/elevator access for Lost & Found: If you need elevator access to the front desk and Lost & Found, please call 775-328-6400 and airport personnel will escort you.
  • Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday. The front desk is closed on weekends and federal holidays.

For matters needing immediate response during weekends, holidays or after regular business hours, please contact Airport Communications at (775) 328-6600.

Lost & Found staff will make every effort to research and locate potential owners. When claiming your item, you will be asked to provide the date the item was lost and a description of the item. Please note, recovered items will be retained for 60 days before being donated or disposed of. For health and safety reasons, perishable food items, food and drink containers, pillows, blankets and soiled clothing may be discarded at the end of the business day. If you feel the item was stolen instead of lost, file a stolen property report with the Reno-Tahoe Airport Police.

RNO does not charge a fee to retrieve items at Lost & Found.
